The salty. Barn

Friends, not food. That's the motto that hit home when becoming vegan. I've always been in love with cows and after learning the truth about how they are treated in the meat and dairy industry I knew deep in my heart there needed to be a change. After many hours of research, I fell in love with animal sanctuaries.

I fell in love with how they stand up for the injustice that so many beautiful, innocent animals face in this world just because society has deemed them as objects to be used. Sanctuaries rescue animals that are being mistreated by animal agriculture and provide them with the life they deserve. I knew in that moment of research I was meant to start my own. I had to be the voice for the animals who don't have a say in how society treats them.

In the fall of 2021 in Saint George, Utah my dream became a reality and the salty. barn was established. We currently have 4 cows, 2 horses, 1 mini horse, 4 goats, 4 chickens, and a rooster. We love our animals with all of our hearts and hope to continue this journey for the rest of our lives.

Dedication to Sage

On May 23rd, 2022 we lost our sweet tiny but mighty 8-month-old  Angus cow named Sage. This sweet baby girl is forever in our hearts and we appreciate everyone who donated to help us have her cremated so she could come home with us.
